Further Kiriban Explanation & Lens Advice

Journal Entry: Thu Jul 9, 2009, 5:08 PM

Hi!

I want to point out some points I think I’ve missed in the previous journal about the Kiriban:

:bulletpink: It is confirmed. I’m doing the Kiriban thing on my 30,000 page views. The lucky one who catches that number by visiting my page has to take a print screen of it (don’t know how to do that? Check it here:
[link] and send me the link to it by Note . I’ll give an entire journal to feature that person =).

If no one catches the 30,000 page views number, I’ll feature the one who send me the closest number to it (higher than 30,000).

So get ready people! There are only 404 views left! :D

Babbling about different stuff:

:star: Anyway, I went to watch Transformers 2 this week. It was nice. I prefer the first one but I liked this one too. I particularly like the sense of union between the characters.

:star: I’ve also started my driving lessons and I’ve officially graduated =) so I’m on holidays!

:star: I’m thinking about buying a new lens for my camera but I have no clue about lens. Do you have any advise you’d like to give me please?

:star: I’ve upload some more pics of my trip to England in my Livejournal if you want to see: [link] I’ll upload some of them here eventually later.

Have a good night

:blowkiss:

Mmh I'll just speak generally since I dont know what gear you have(brand) and what budget you have.

a 50 or 60 mm would do the job, however you have to think a bit before of what kind of macro you want to do. if you want to do take pics of insects that are moving quite fast or sensitive to disturbance (such as butterflies)50 or 60mm might be ashort and you might have to consider a 90 or 100mm macro lens instead.

For landscape I dont know if a zoom is necessary I would chose a prime lense around the 20mm range to get something handy and wide enough.
